A lot of schools used to treat graduation info like it was buried in a PDF somewhere, so I appreciate how straightforward this is—people just need the when and where. Also feels like a time capsule now looking back at 2022 and everything still being pretty livestream-friendly. Totally off-topic, but that “make it easy to show up looking put-together” vibe makes me think of StyleLookLab when people are planning what to wear for big milestones like this.

Graduation ceremony pages like this always make me nostalgic—there’s something about seeing a specific date/time locked in that makes it feel real for the seniors. I’m curious how many people watch live vs. catch the recording later, especially when you’re coordinating family across different schedules. The “share a single link and everyone’s on the same page” part weirdly reminds me of imgg where you’re just trying to get a clean result quickly without a bunch of extra steps.

It’s nice that the post doesn’t overcomplicate things—date, time, and a straight link to the ceremony is exactly what people need when they’re forwarding it around to family. I do wonder if schools will keep leaning into more hybrid/online access even now, since it makes events feel a lot more inclusive. Kind of a tangent, but the “one simple place to find the right link” idea is similar to how hrefgo organizes stuff in directories, just for a different audience.

Seeing the ceremony scheduled with a livestream link makes me think about how many families can actually attend now—people in different time zones, relatives who can’t travel, etc. I always end up doing the mental math of “okay, if it starts at 5pm PT, what is that for me,” and I’ve definitely used a handy playback speed calculator tool for similar time-planning stuff when watching long recordings later. Either way, congrats to the Class of 2022.

The simple “here’s the time, here’s the link” format actually works well for something like a graduation ceremony page—no clutter when people are just trying to show up and watch. Also, it’s wild how these events feel both super local and totally shareable at the same time. Randomly, that mix of quick access + people hanging around reminds me of BlockBlast when you just pop in for a minute and end up staying longer.
