EMERGENCY PLAN
FOR FAMILIES
In the event of an emergency, LACHSA will follow the emergency protocol developed between CSULA and LACHSA. If the building alarms sound during an emergency, LACHSA will evacuate the school and go to LACHSA's evacuation site. This is a brief walk from the school site to Lot 5.

PROTOCOL
All teachers in the main LACHSA building (Building 20) will be located with their class next to their assigned number the satellite lot attached to Parking Lot 5. Please see maps.

Students in the Music Quad will evacuate to Lot 6.

Students in the Fine Arts Building will evacuate to Lot 8.

Students in the Luckman Fine Arts Complex will evacuate to the Luckman loading zone.

All other students on the CSULA campus will follow the directions of CSULA safety personnel to an appropriate evacuation site.
FAMILY NOTIFICATION
AND REUNION
Depending on the nature of the emergency, LACHSA will attempt to contact families via phone, email, or social media.

During an emergency, heading directly to LACHSA may be dangerous or cause difficulties for first responders due to traffic jams. Please wait for reunification instructions. Students will be released to their parent/legal guardian and/or emergency contact that matches LACHSA's records.
