Huge congratulations to all the 9th grade theatre students on their incredible achievements at DTASC! It sounds like you have a remarkably talented group of young actors and writers. First place in the original script and comedic scene is particularly impressive. It takes real teamwork and creativity to pull that off. My niece is involved in theatre too, though it's mostly smaller school productions. She's always looking for inspiration and new ideas. Maybe she could find some by using their experiences and success as examples, and develop her own ideas, maybe even something like the game crazy cattle 3d but theater version?
