Mia Hernandez is an experimental animator and teaching artist based in East Los Angeles.
Mia started animating at the age of nine through the Community Arts Partnership (CAP) and has dedicated herself to the craft ever since. She received her BFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts. Mia’s art practice is heavily inspired by her culture, community, and identity. Her work and art have been screened & exhibited throughout SoCal.
