As part of LACHSA's continuing mission to provide quality arts education to the diverse communities of LA County, we invited local community organizations, educators, students and staff members to convene and audit LACHSA's admissions and outreach policies. The Latinx Admissions and Outreach Review Committee's established key recommendations to increase LACHSA's presence in Hispanic / Latino communities and improve the representation of Latinx students of color who successfully audition for the school.
The final report with a full list of participants and key recommendations can be accessed below. We are eager to implement many of these changes and continue our advocacy for the young artists of LA County.
