Mrs. Won is the Algebra 1 Math teacher working for LACOE for 15 years. She is a University of California, Irvine alum and has a Masters in Teaching. This is currently her 3rd year teaching at LACHSA and has taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 here. Mrs. Won has been dabbling in the arts all her life. She has been a singer since the 1st grade and as a child she worked in the Pantages Theatre performing for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" with singing, dancing, and theatre. She got paid back then in the 1990's $50 a week. She played the flute for 6 years and had 8 years of ice-skating experience to the point where she could land a double salchow. She has great respect for students of the visual and cinematic arts because she wishes that she can draw, sculpt, sew, or make videos about penguins. Obviously, her favorite movie is "March of the Penguins"
