ZOIA WISEMAN

Zoia Wiseman (she/her) leads our Stage and Production Management courses, bringing over 20 years of experience in theatre, film, and education. She holds an MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre from Cal State LA, a postgraduate diploma from Queen’s University Belfast, and a BFA from Stephens College. A multifaceted theatre artist, Zoia has worked as an actor, stage manager, producer, lighting designer, and electrician, with professional credits at institutions including The Kennedy Center Family Theatre, PCPA, Solas Nua/TinderBox, and The Inkwell Theater. Her career has taken her to Washington, D.C., Northern Ireland, Louisiana, California, and on tour, giving her a broad perspective on the demands of live performance.

As an educator, she has taught and mentored students at Cal State LA, PCPA, Allan Hancock College, Howard University, and now LACHSA. A member of Actors’ Equity and the Stage Managers’ Association, Zoia grounds her teaching philosophy in critical thinking, technical exploration, and collaborative artistry, bringing warmth, rigor, and professional insight to every classroom and production.
