They exist to break down barriers that prevent teens from accessing art in our community, such as ticket or admission cost, navigating transportation around the city, and feeling insecure around arts-going. ANY teenager (13-19 years old) can sign up for a free TeenTix pass! The pass entitles teens to purchase $5 day-of-show tickets at any of our growing list of partner organizations in the Los Angeles area.

The Art Hour is a certified nonprofit organization that helps youth to harness their creativity, learn new art mediums, and connect with the top young artists in the nation by offering FREE, ONLINE ART CLASSES for students from grades K-12 every single weekend. With classes like 3D Graphic Design, Introduction to Vocal Technique and Disney Sing-a-long.

PLAZA DE LA RAZA CULTURAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS & EDUCATION​

The only multidisciplinary community arts venue dedicated to serving the Eastside of Los Angeles. Founded in 1970 by labor, business and civic leaders as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it offers affordable after-school, intergenerational arts programs to nearly 5,100 people each year. They foster enrichment of all cultures bridging the geographic, social, artistic, and cultural boundaries of Los Angeles, and beyond.

INICIATIVAS DE LACHSA

TOMA PARTE EN ARTE

¡Las escuelas primarias locales y las escuelas intermedias están invitadas a ver espectáculos selectos de LACHSA de forma gratuita! El transporte hacia y desde el lugar del evento se proporciona sin costo alguno. Esperamos compartir las artes con jóvenes académicos en comunidades con acceso limitado a la educación artística.

COMITÉ DE IGUALDAD Y ACCESO

Convocado en febrero de 2019 para abordar temas clave de acceso a LACHSA y desarrollar soluciones para mejorar la diversidad socioeconómica, este equipo estaba formado por funcionarios escolares, padres, líderes sin fines de lucro, activistas comunitarios y agencias gubernamentales locales, quienes trabajaron juntos para desarrollar recomendaciones clave para mejorar los temas de equidad.

ADMISIONES A LACHSA

El personal de Admisiones de LACHSA está disponible para proporcionar sesiones de información y servicios de cabina para escuelas primarias y secundarias locales y organizaciones sin fines de lucro. También ofrecemos talleres de audición, tours y sesiones informativas en el campus. ¡Nuestro objetivo es hacer que el proceso de admisión sea lo más fácil y accesible posible!
