BLUE REINHARD

Blue Reinhard lives and works in Los Angeles. Reinhard creates paintings, sculptures, and participatory installations that primarily use oil paint, ceramics, and wax to explore ritual, the collective, and the self. Since graduating from Occidental College in 2023 with a BA in Studio Art, Reinhard has curated group exhibitions at local galleries including: Silver Plated Secrets at MorYork (2025), Ritual Unknowing at Avenue 50 Studio (2024), and Cognitive Dissonance at Junior High LA (2024). Reinhard has also shown paintings and sculptures in other group exhibitions at Rusha & Co and Goat Gallery. In 2023, Reinhard interned at the Jewish Museum in New York where they created a sculptural diptych based on artifacts from the museum’s collection. As part of their educational internship at non-profit artworxLA, Reinhard designed and manufactured Gallery Quest, a card game that seeks to make exhibitions more accessible by posing engaging questions about artwork. They also have led free art workshops at galleries such as Oxy Arts and Hauser & Wirth. Through Reinhard’s art installations, teaching, and curatorial work, they have cultivated a practice centered on social engagement and experimentation.
