MARIA BAGHASARIAN

Dr. Maria Baghasarian is the Lead Mental Health Practitioner of the LACHSA Wellness Center. Dr. Baghasarian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. She holds her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California and her Doctorate of Educational Leadership from California State University of Los Angeles. Dr. Baghasarian has been working in school-based mental health services since 2017. Dr. Baghasarian also is an adjunct professor at CSULA and CSULB, teaching Psychology and Counseling classes.

Dr. Baghasarian’s main goal at LACHSA is to ensure that students and families feel welcome and safe here. Dr. Baghasarian works with interns who also support the Wellness Center. Some of the services provided include: individual counseling, crisis assessment and support, family counseling, group counseling, and case management. We also provide a safe, quiet, stress free space for students to come and de-stress.
