LAURA MCNAMARA

I am a third generation Angelino native who resides in Tarzana, California with my prince, daughter, son, dog, cat, goat, lamb, guinea pig, six fish and nine chickens.

Both my mother and grandmother were educators and after a two year stint overseas where I studied Spanish and witnessed first-hand the dissolution of Eastern Europe, I returned to the United States with a renewed interest in history and a respect for the power of rhetoric.

After doing most of my undergraduate work at San Francisco State University, I returned to my home town and earned a Single Subject credential in the English Language Arts and a Master of Arts in English Education from California State University Northridge. I have also completed supplementary course work at the University California of Los Angeles, University of Southern California, and the University of San Diego.
