Kevin DeKimpe is a composer, audio engineer, and visual artist in various mediums. He earned a BFA in Performance Arts Technology (with a focus in composition) at the University of Michigan in 2010.

At 22, he was the youngest composer at the 2010 Sundance film festival featuring his original score for the feature, 'Bilal's Stand.' He then moved to LA to work with composers like David Schwartz (Arrested Development, The Good Place) and Deborah Lurie (Spider Man 3, Captain Marvel).

His work in music videos expands from musical artists Todrick Hall to Lady Gaga. His Sound Design work focuses on horror features, and also works in production audio for different Netflix shows.

He serves the LGBT community through outreach programs such as AMP (the Alive Music Project), the It Gets Better Tour, and GMCLA (the gay men's chorus of Los Angeles). He's excited to show everything he's learned to teach to the new talented faces of the entertainment industry!
