Mr. Gomez is a proud graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He is a founding member and co-creator of The Vault Ensemble, based at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. As a writer and director, his credits include The Vault: Bankrupt and The Vault: Unlocked, which received favorable reviews in the Los Angeles Times, LA Stage Times, LA Weekly, Flavorpill (Pick of the Week), LAist and Backstage, and as co-writer and actor, his credits include Melancholia, which toured internationally to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a director his credits include Danny and The Deep Blue Sea (LATC, STAGE RAW pick of the week and Ovation award nominated), Placas: The Most Dangerous Tattoo (written by Doris Duke award winner Paul Flores), Anna in the Tropics (Cal State Fullerton) Other acting credits include Just Like Us(Denver Center for the Performing Arts), Solitude(LATC, National Tour), PLACAS (National Tour), Romeo and Juliet and The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare Festival LA) and Macbeth(Pasadena Shakespeare Company). His film and TV credits include NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, HBO’s Walkout, Undercovers, 7th Heaven, Small Time and Waterborne (SXSW Special Audience Award). Training: LA County High School for the Arts (currently on staff), the American Academy of Dramatic Art, Stella Adler Conservatory (NY), Stonestreet Studios and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
