I graduated from Art Center College of Design as an illustration major. My early career was as a freelance illustrator and product designer.
Most of my career has been in the Animation industry. I have worked at many Animation companies, but mostly at Disney. At Disney I worked in the animation department on Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, and Pocahontas. I also worked in the layout department on Pocahontas. I was a storyboard artist at Disney TV and other companies.
After animation I became a Character Art Manager for the Apparel and Accessories Division or Disney Consumer Products. I have also illustrated three children's books.
I have been teaching art since 2002. I have taught Animation, Storyboarding, Drawing, Design, Computer Design Programs, Perspective, and Art History. I have taught at FIDM, LACHSA and Barnsdall Art Center.
