Elizabeth Dennehy is originally from New York, a graduate of Hofstra University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor James Lancaster. Their son, Jack, a Lachsa Theatre alum is a graduate of the DePaul Theatre School in Chicago. Their son, William is a LACHSA Cinematic Arts alum and current NYU Film student.
Elizabeth has acted locally with the Antaeus Theatre Company, Independent Shakespeare Co, South Coast Rep, San Diego Rep and at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Shakespeare & Co with Tina Packer and Kristin Linklater, The New York Shakespeare Festival with Kevin Kline, the Kennedy Center, The McCarter Theatre, the Geva Theatre, The Provincetown Playhouse in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom with Charles Busch and Julie Halston, and is an original creator and cast member of Tony and Tina’s Wedding.
She has also worked as a dialogue coach most recently on The Middle, the Goldbergs and Carol's Second Act. Elizabeth enjoys collaborating with actors to create exciting auditions and has been an audition coach for years. Elizabeth recently completed the Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance program at Shakespeare's Globe in London.
